Today is Teacher's Day. Most schools in town have the day off, but not us. We're making a statement or something. Honestly, I'm happy to be back. I'm getting worried about finishing all the material I need to cover.
Teacher's Day is apparently different from Wai Kru Day. It's way less of a big deal, and in fact we didn't even know it was Teacher's Day until our boss texted us to wish us a good one.
The students sang the Wai Kru Song at assembly and presented Ajarnyai with flowers. Other than that it's just a normal day. I only have one class on Thursday, so it'll be an easy week.
