Happy Halloween!!!!
One year in college, my roommates and I found a plastic pumpkin bucket at WalMart for $0.99. After a few modifications, I put it on my head. We thought it was hilarious and took a few pictures. And that is how Pumpkin Mike came to be. It was pretty dumb, but it grew into a cherished holiday tradition.
So for the next few years on Halloween, I would always take a new Pumpkin Mike photo and make it my profile picture for a few days on Facebook.
But I haven't been able to do that in Thailand, so I've had to reuse my old photos for the last few years. But this year, it's time for an update.
And we decided to make another jack-o-lantern this year! The good news is, we actually found normal pumpkins at the store (no watermelon). The bad news was, they were imported and cost nearly $100 each. So instead we went with a little white Japanese pumpkin, which I called the "Ghost Pumpkin" to sound spookier.
