The (Fourth) Last Week of School

Well...

That's it!

Another year gone by!

The other day the M5 (Junior) class surprised their seniors with a farewell party. While the M6 class was taking a university entrance exam class, the M5 students set up a big banner and balloons in the courtyard. When the students came out, their juniors blindfolded them and led them out for their surprise, where they sang and gave them farewell gifts and notes.

Of course, there were lots of tears. For these students who have studied together for fifteen years, it's hard to say goodbye to their classmates.

Last week was the final week of class before exams. I still have some work to do over the next month, but teaching-wise I'm finished. I'm so tired these days! I'll be very ready for a break!

My fourth year in Thailand is at a close. Soon final exams will be over! I am very excited about a visit from my family very soon, and before I know it, I'll be back in Texas! Looking forward to some delicious tex-mex, barbecue, and family time.
