Walking the Dam

Adventure can come in so many different shapes and forms, but some of my favorite adventures usually come from doing something new in a familiar place.

A few days ago, my dad and I took a walk along the Lake Waco Dam. It took a few hours, but it was flat and a pretty easy walk.

I enjoyed the scenery of Lake Waco. I never spent much time out there, even when I lived in the city for four years during university.

I also got to see some new birds, which I've since added to my life list!
