I was at the local convenience store, and a crazy new Snickers bar caught my eye! It was Snickers White, supposedly a coconut-flavored limited edition snickers. I threw one in my card.
It was indeed white (white chocolate, I guess), and coconut flavored. More than that, however, it had that crazy cooling property from the weird potato chips and the crazy Malaysian coffee that I tried last year! I still don't really get it, but I think that this "flavor" (or, sensation?) is becoming more and more popular.
Odd, but ok. I still prefer a traditional Snickers.
Now I've heard of having peanuts with beer, but I had never seen beer-flavored peanuts before! My fiancee came across them at the shop, and brought me a can. I was skeptical, but as soon as I popped the lid off, the smell of cheap beer hit my nose. It was uncanny and very odd.
The package declared that there was no alcohol, and all of the familiar beer flavoring came from the hops seasoning which coated the peanuts. I liked it, but I could only eat a few at a time. The flavor was really strong, and it made me cough.
I would, however, definitely buy these beer peanuts again. Strange as they were, I quite enjoyed them!
