This week, I decided to get certified in Wilderness First Aid. A WFA certification is the first step in the intensive WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certification. Now that I'm getting more into outdoor adventures, including camping and hiking in Thailand and in the US, I think it's wise to brush up on my first aid skills!
The program was offered online, and included zoom-based lectures and demonstrations, a course book, and a certification test, which I passed with Honors!
I hope it never has to come in handy, but as we all know, it's always best to be prepared!
