I was at Union Mall the other day, and was delighted to see a book fair set up in the events area! I always loved book fairs when I was a kid, and my wife and I went to look around.
After registering via LINE, we got a while sheet of 7 color of the day bookmarks for free!

The book fair was mostly Thai books: ghost stories, business texts, Chinese dramas (which are super popular here), and translated works from all around the world. I couldn't really read any of them, but it was super fun to browse anyway.

After looking at the foreign language section, I decided to search and see if they had any books about learning Thai. I've been trying, but my language skills are still lacking. To be honest, I haven't been putting in the effort I should at language study.

Pinky helped me pick out two small books for learning Thai, and we've started working through them together. I've decided that even though I know a decent bit of vocabulary and can have simple conversations, it's best if we just start at the beginning to build a real foundation in my language learning.
I've always been a better language teacher than a language student, to be honest...
This year, I'll make more of an effort! Let's call it a New Year's Resolution (but I'm just starting a little early!).
