It's super hot in Thailand, so in a way I'm glad I'm missing out - especially since the festivities will be subdued this year. But I also miss Songkran. I had so much fun when I participated in the giant city-wide water fight at Siam a few years ago.
Back in Texas, my buddy James and I had planned to hit up Wat Dallas and check out their Songkran celebration this year, but unfortunately the timing in 2017 didn't work out - it's on Easter Sunday! Too bad!
Anyway, happy Songkran to all! And happy Thai New Year!
