You can buy these packaged sandwiches right off the shelf, and the staff at the shop will toast them up for you in a sandwich maker. A hot toasty and a can of coffee is my go-to breakfast here in Thailand. Today I had one of my new favorites: mashed potato and ham cheese flavor. It's an interesting combination, but in my opinion it really works well. My other favorite is the classic ham and cheese.

Today is a big study day. Every other week or so I go on a tour with my walking adventures group on Saturday mornings, but since I went out last week, I decided that I had better stay in this week and get some work done. It's the second week of the semester, and I've got a lot of reading to do for my grad class that I'm taking this spring.
In the evening I have several classes to teach online. Today, my students come from Russia, China, and Korea. One thing I really enjoy about teaching online is that I get to know students from all over the world. Over the last two years, I've taught people from all sorts of interesting places: Japan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Somalia, Brazil, Germany, and a lot more. It's been great learning all about some places around the world that I never would have had the chance to know about otherwise.
Today is going to be kind of a boring day, but that's ok. Sometimes we need slow, quiet days! Anyway, that's sort of the point of me writing these posts. I just want to show what a regular week is like in my life here in Bangkok!
Oh! And you might be wondering about the Ganesha statue that we got for our friend yesterday. It was a fun outing, so I wanted a memento for myself. I got myself a similar wooden Ganesha, though it's a bit smaller than the one we got for our friend. I like this one, because it looks very Indian with its turban and cobras!
