Valentine's Day is fairly popular in Thailand, though maybe not as popular as it is in Korea or Japan. In those countries, Valentine's Day is a day in which boys will give chocolate and flowers to the girls they like. A month later in March, these countries celebrate White Day, when girls return the favor by giving chocolate candy to the boys whose feelings they reciprocate.
Here in Thailand, Valentine's Day is mostly a day for the shopping malls to put up decorations, for restaurants to offer special meals which require reservations, and for 7-11 to release strange heart-shaped chicken sandwiches.
I saw this "Valentine Burger Chicken Cheese with Pink Cream Sauce" at my local convenience store, and had to give it a try! It was honestly pretty good! Nothing overly special our unique, but a tasty sandwich all the same. A nice Valentine's treat.
